«Αέρας» η Σάκκαρη, προκρίθηκε στα ημιτελικά του τουρνουά του Βερολίνου

 

Δεν δυσκολεύτηκε η Μαρία Σάκκαρη να περάσει το εμπόδιο της Ντάρια Κασάτκινα. Η Ελληνίδα τενίστρια επικράτησε 2-0 σετ της Ρωσίδας (6-0, 6-3) σε 72 λεπτά και έτσι πήρε την πρόκριση στα ημιτελικά του τουρνουά του Βερολίνου.

Αυτή η νίκη ήταν η πρώτη της στα συνολικά πέντε ματς της με την Ρωσίδα, με την Ελληνίδα να κάνει μια εξαιρετική εμφάνιση.

Ειδικά στο πρώτο σετ, ήταν καταιγιστική κάτι που φαίνεται και από το 6-0 στο σετ. Στο επόμενο προσπάθησε να προβάλλει μεγαλύτερη αντίσταση η Κασάτκινα. Το κατάφερε μέχρι ενός
