Ζελένσκι: «Ημέρα ενότητας» του ουκρανικού λαού η 16η Φεβρουαρίου

Ο πρόεδρος της Ουκρανίας Βολοντίμιρ Ζελένσκι ανακήρυξε «ημέρα ενότητας» την Τετάρτη, 16 Φεβρουαρίου, δηλαδή την ημέρα που πολλά μέσα ενημέρωσης αναφέρουν ως πιθανή για να εξαπολύσει η Ρωσία μια επίθεση.

 

«Μας είπαν ότι η 16η Φεβρουαρίου θα είναι η ημέρα της επίθεσης. Εμείς θα την μετατρέψουμε σε ημέρα ενότητας» είπε ο Ουκρανός πρόεδρος στο διάγγελμά του προς το έθνος, καλώντας τους Ουκρανούς να υψώσουν την ουκρανική σημαία.

 

Λίγο νωρίτερα, ο Ζελένσκι προέτρεψε αξιωματούχους, πολιτικούς και επιχειρηματίες που πρόσφατα έφυγαν από την Ουκρανία να επιστρέψουν στη χώρα τους μέσα σε 24 ώρες. «Είναι καθήκον σας, σε μια τέτοια κατάσταση, να είστε μαζί μας, με τον ουκρανικό λαό. Προτείνω να επιστρέψετε στην πατρίδα σας μέσα σε 24 ώρες και να σταθείτε στο πλευρό του ουκρανικού στρατού, της διπλωματίας και του λαού μας», τόνισε.

 

Τα ουκρανικά μέσα ενημέρωσης ανέφεραν ότι ορισμένοι βουλευτές και επιχειρηματίες έφυγαν από τη χώρα το Σαββατοκύριακο, αφού οι ΗΠΑ, η Βρετανία και άλλες χώρες συνέστησαν στους πολίτες τους να εγκαταλείψουν επειγόντως την Ουκρανία.

 

«Επιστρέψτε στον λαό και τη χώρα σας, που ήταν η πηγή των εργοστασίων και της περιουσίας σας», πρόσθεσε ο Ζελένσκι.
