Ζελένσκι: Ο ρωσικός στρατός ξεκίνησε τη «μάχη του Ντονμπάς»

Ο ουκρανός πρόεδρος Βολοντίμιρ Ζελένσκι ανακοίνωσε απόψε την έναρξη μιας μεγάλης ρωσικής στρατιωτικής επίθεσης στην ανατολική Ουκρανία, κάνοντας λόγο για τη «μάχη του Ντονμπάς», μέρος του οποίου βρίσκεται υπό τον έλεγχο φιλορώσων αυτονομιστών.

 

«Μπορούμε τώρα να πούμε ότι τα ρωσικά στρατεύματα ξεκίνησαν τη μάχη του Ντονμπάς, για την οποία προετοιμάζονταν εδώ και πολύ καιρό. Ένα πολύ μεγάλο τμήμα του ρωσικού στρατού είναι πλέον επικεντρωμένο σε αυτήν την επίθεση», δήλωσε ο Ζελένσκι σε βιντεοσκοπημένο μήνυμά του στο Telegram.

 

Νωρίτερα, ο προσωπάρχης του ουκρανού προέδρου είχε δηλώσει ότι «ξεκίνησε η δεύτερη φάση του πολέμου», αναφερόμενος στη νέα επίθεση της Ρωσίας στην ανατολική Ουκρανία. «Πιστέψτε στον στρατό μας, είναι πολύ δυνατός» δήλωσε ο Αντρίι Γέρμακ σε ανάρτησή του στο Telegram, διαβεβαιώνοντας τους συμπατριώτες του πως οι ουκρανικές ένοπλες δυνάμεις μπορούν να αποκρούσουν τους επιτιθέμενους.

 

Τουλάχιστον οκτώ άμαχοι βρήκαν σήμερα τον θάνατο από τους ρωσικούς βομβαρδισμούς στις περιοχές του Ντονέτσκ και του Λουχάνσκ, όπου μαίνονται οι μάχες, σύμφωνα με τις τοπικές ουκρανικές αρχές.

 

Μετά την υποχώρηση των στρατευμάτων της γύρω από το Κίεβο, η Ρωσία συγκέντρωσε τον κύριο όγκο των δυνάμεών της στην ανατολική Ουκρανία, στόχο συχνών βομβαρδισμών μετά την έναρξη της ρωσικής εισβολής στις 24 Φεβρουαρίου.

 

Εν τω μεταξύ, στο Χάρκοβο, οι ρωσικοί βομβαρδισμοί προκάλεσαν τον θάνατο τριών ανθρώπων και τον τραυματισμό άλλων δεκαπέντε, μεταξύ αυτών και ένα 14χρονο αγόρι, σύμφωνα με τον περιφερειακό κυβερνήτη Όλεγκ Σινεγκούμποφ.
