ΗΠΑ-Στέιτ Ντιπάρτμεντ: Η κυριαρχία της Ελλάδας στα νησιά του Αιγαίου δεν αμφισβητείται

Η κυριαρχία της Ελλάδας στα νησιά του Αιγαίου δεν αμφισβητείται, διαμηνύει το Στέιτ Ντιπάρτμεντ σχετικά με τις νέες απειλές που εξαπέλυσε ο Τούρκος πρόεδρος Ρετζέπ Ταγίπ Ερντογάν εναντίον της χώρας μας.     Σε γραπτή του δήλωση, εκπρόσωπος του αμερικανικού υπουργείου Εξωτερικών σημειώνει ότι «σε μια εποχή που η Ρωσία εισέβαλε ξανά σε ένα κυρίαρχο ευρωπαϊκό κράτος, οι δηλώσεις που θα μπορούσαν να αυξήσουν τις εντάσεις μεταξύ των Συμμάχων του ΝΑΤΟ δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα χρήσιμες. Οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες συνεχίζουν να ενθαρρύνουν τους συμμάχους τους στο ΝΑΤΟ να συνεργαστούν για τη διατήρηση της ειρήνης και της ασφάλειας στην περιοχή και για την επίλυση των διαφορών με διπλωματία. Η κυριαρχία και η εδαφική ακεραιότητα όλων των χωρών πρέπει να γίνονται σεβαστές και να προστατεύονται. Η κυριαρχία της Ελλάδας σε αυτά τα νησιά δεν αμφισβητείται. Καλούμε όλα τα μέρη να αποφύγουν τη ρητορική και τις ενέργειες που θα μπορούσαν να αυξήσουν περαιτέρω την ένταση».    πηγή amna.gr
