Ιαπωνία-ναυάγιο τουριστικού πλοίου: Νεκροί και οι 10 άνθρωποι που έχουν εντοπιστεί - 16 εξακολουθούν να αγνοούνται

Νεκροί είναι και οι δέκα άνθρωποι που έχουν εντοπιστεί μέχρι στιγμής μετά το ναυάγιο χθες Σάββατο τουριστικού πλοίου στη βόρεια Ιαπωνία, ενώ ακόμη 16 άλλοι εξακολουθούν να αγνοούνται, ανακοίνωσε το λιμενικό της χώρας.

"Επιβεβαιώνουμε τον θάνατο και των δέκα ανθρώπων", δήλωσε εκπρόσωπος του ιαπωνικού λιμενικού, ενώ πρόσθεσε ότι συνεχίζονται οι έρευνες για τους αγνοούμενους.

Το πλοίο Kazu I απέπλευσε χθες το πρωί με 24 επιβάτες, ανάμεσά τους δύο παιδιά, και διμελές πλήρωμα για περιήγηση κατά μήκος τμήματος της χερσονήσου Σιρετόκο, προστατευόμενη φυσική περιοχή στο βορειοανατολικό τμήμα της βόρειας νήσου Χοκάιντο, παρά τις προβλέψεις για άσχημες καιρικές συνθήκες στην περιοχή.

Το πλήρωμα έστειλε σήμα κινδύνου στις 13:13 τοπική ώρα (07:13 ώρα Ελλάδας), ειδοποιώντας πως το πλοίο έβαζε νερά και είχε αρχίσει να βυθίζεται, καθώς είχε πάρει κλίση 30 μοιρών.

Το λιμενικό έφθασε στην περιοχή έπειτα από τρεις ώρες εντατικών ερευνών, που συνεχίζονται έκτοτε και στις οποίες συμμετέχουν η αστυνομία, ο στρατός και αλιείς της περιοχής, ενώ έχουν αναπτυχθεί και αεροπορικά μέσα.
