Μπορέλ: Περαιτέρω επιθετικότητα από την πλευρά της Ρωσίας θα έχει συνέπειες

Ο Ύπατος εκπρόσωπος της Ένωσης για θέματα εξωτερικής πολιτικής και πολιτικής ασφαλείας και αντιπρόεδρος της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής Ζοζέπ Μπορέλ κάλεσε την Ρωσία να προχωρήσει σε αποκλιμάκωση τονίζοντας ότι περαιτέρω επιθετικότητα θα έχει συνέπειες.

 

Μιλώντας στην Υποεπιτροπή Ασφάλειας και 'Αμυνας του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου για την κατάσταση στα σύνορα της Ουκρανίας, ο κ. Μπορέλ ανέφερε ότι η ΕΕ εργάζεται με τις ΗΠΑ σχετικά με το ποιες μπορεί να είναι οι συνέπειες. Επίσης, ο Ζοζέπ Μπορέλ σημείωσε ότι μέχρι τις 24 Ιανουαρίου που πραγματοποιείται το Συμβούλιο Εξωτερικών Υποθέσεων συνεχίζεται η συζήτηση που αφορά σε προτάσεις, ενώ εξέφρασε την ελπίδα για ολοκλήρωση της προσπάθειας σχετικά με τη στρατηγική πυξίδα τον Μάρτιο.
