Προκρίθηκε ο Τσιτσιπάς στον τρίτο γύρο του Australian Open

Στον τρίτο γύρο του Australian Open προκρίθηκε ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς, έχοντας την πρώτη του απώλεια σετ στη φετινή διοργάνωση.

Με όπλο το καλό του σερβίς, ο Τσιτσιπάς επικράτησε με 3-1 σετ του μαχητικού Αργεντινού Σεμπαστιάν Μπάες, παρά τα πολλά αβίαστα λάθη στα οποία υπέπεσε.

Η αναμέτρηση των δύο αθλητών διήρκεσε περίπου 3,5 ώρες.

Στο κλείσιμο του πρώτου σετ, ο Τσιτσιπάς απάντησε με μπρέικ στο μπρέικ στο Αργεντινού και τελικά επικράτησε με 7-6 στο τάι μπρέικ.

Στο τάι μπρέικ οδηγήθηκε και το δεύτερο σετ, με τον Μπάες αυτή τη φορά να επικρατεί.

Στο επόμενα δύο σετ ο Τσιτσιπάς ανέβασε την απόδοσή του, κατακτώντας τα με 6-3 και 6-4.
