Σαμπάτη, Χριστοδούλου: Από τη «μάχη» για την είσοδο στο κυρίως ταμπλό στη κορυφή του ORAIOKASTRO OPEN

Την πολύ καλή πορεία τους στη πλατεία Συντάγματος σφράγισαν στο Ωραίοκαστρο Θεσσαλονίκης οι Ιφιγένεια Σαμπάτη, Χρυσάνθη Χριστοδούλου οι οποίες ανέβηκαν στο πρώτο σκαλί του βάθρου στο πρώτο φετινό τουρνουά της North Area Beach Volley Circuit.

Σαμπάτη, Χριστοδούλου ξεκίνησαν την πορεία τους στο ORAIOKASTRO OPEN από τα προκριματικά και έφτασαν μέχρι το χρυσό μετάλλιο με μόλις μία ήττα στη πρώτη φάση του κυρίως ταμπλό. Στον τελικό της διοργάνωσης, επικράτησαν με 2-0 (21-13, 26-24) σετ της Διονυσίας Μάτιου και της Ελένης Χαντζή.

Το πρώτο σετ κύλησε εύκολα για τις νικήτριες με 21-13 και ενώ στο δεύτερο σετ προηγήθηκαν με 20-16, χρειάστηκε να φτάσουν μέχρι τους 26 πόντους για να πανηγυρίσουν το πρώτο τους φετινό χρυσό μετάλλιο.

Σαμπάτη και Χριστοδούλου πρόσθεσαν από 62,5 βαθμούς στην ατομική τους βαθμολογία, ενώ Μάτιου και Χαντζή από 56,25.

Την απονομή στις Διονυσία Μάτιου και Ελένη Χαντζή που κατέκτησαν το ασημένιο μετάλλιο έκανε ο Δημοτικός Σύμβουλος Δήμου Ωραιοκάστρου Ανέστης Πολυχρονίδης, ενώ στις νικήτριες Ιφιγένεια Σαμπάτη και Χρυσάνθη Χριστοδούλου ο Αντιδήμαρχος Πολεοδομίας Δήμου Ωραιοκάστρου Ευάγγελος Κανταρτζής.
