Στο κυρίως ταμπλό του Ρολάν Γκαρός η Γραμματικοπούλου

Μία θέση στο κυρίως ταμπλό του Ρολάν Γκαρός εξασφάλισε η Βαλεντίνη Γραμματικοπούλου.

Στον 3ο και τελευταίο γύρο των προκριματικών, η 25χρονη Ελληνίδα τενίστρια νίκησε 6-3, 6-3 την Αμερικανίδα Κριστίνα ΜακΧέιλ και έτσι απέκτησε το δικαίωμα να αγωνιστεί για δεύτερη φορά στην καριέρα της σε ένα τουρνουά γκραν σλαμ. Η παρθενική της συμμετοχή ήταν στο περσινό US Open, όπου μάλιστα είχε κάνει και μία νίκη, πριν αποκλειστεί από την Ελίζ Μέρτενς.
