Ο Κρίστο Τόβερ σφυρίζει στο Φράιμπουργκ

Η Ευρωπαϊκή Συνομοσπονδία έκανε γνωστούς, τόσο τον διαιτητή όσο και τους συνεργάτες του για το ματς της Πέμπτης. Εκεί όπου ο Ολυμπιακός θα παίξει ένα από τα τελευταία του «χαρτιά» για να περάσει στον επόμενο γύρο του UEFA Conference League. Την αναμέτρηση με τη γερμανική ομάδα θα διευθύνει Εσθονός ρέφερι. Ο Κρίστο Τόβερ σφυρίζει στη Γερμανία.

Ο Κρίστο Τόβερ με ελληνικές ομάδες

Αξίζει να σημειωθεί πώς δεν έχει διευθύνει ποτέ στο παρελθόν ματς του Ολυμπιακού στα κύπελλα Ευρώπης. Ωστόσο έχει σφυρίξει σε ματς ελληνικών ομάδων. Δύο φορές ματς του ΠΑΟΚ. Στις 29/11/2018 το Τσέλσι – ΠΑΟΚ 4-0 και στις 4/8/2011 το ΠΑΟΚ – Βαλερένγκα 3-0. Επιπλέον, τον Απρίλιο του 2021 είχε βρεθεί στην Ελλάδα για το ματς των play off της Super League, Παναθηναϊκός-Άρης 1-2 (18/4/21). Σε επίπεδο εθνικών ομάδων, είχε σφυρίξει το Ελλάδα-Αρμενία 2-3 (11/6/2019).

Η «ομάδα» του Κρίστο Τόβερ

Φέτος ήταν ρέφερι στο ματς Σοσιεδάδ – Ομόνοια 2-1 (15/9), όπως και το ματς Κόσοβο – Κύπρος 5-1 για το Nations League (27/9). Συνεργάτες του, θα είναι οι συμπατριώτες του Κάρολιν Καϊβόγια, Στεν Κλάασεν, 4ος διαιτητής ο Γιούρι Φρίσερ. Όσον αφορά στο VAR, εκεί θα είναι ο Ελβετός Φενταγί Σαν με τον Ολλανδό Ντένις Χίγκλερ.
