Ο Μεντβέντεφ θα βρεθεί στον δρόμο του Τσιτσιπά – Νίκησε με ανατροπή τον Αλιασίμ

 

Και πάλι ο Μεντβέντεφ θα βρεθεί στον δρόμο του Στέφανου Τσιτσιπά … Ο Ρώσος θα είναι ο αντίπαλος του Έλληνα πρωταθλητή στην ημιτελική φάση του Australian Open. Το μεσημέρι της Τετάρτης πήρε την πρόκριση επικρατώντας με 3-2 σετ Αλιασίμ από τον Καναδά μετά από ένα συγκλονιστικό παιχνίδι που είχε διάρκεια τέσσερις ώρες και 38 λεπτά.

Ο Αλιασίμ είχε ξεκινήσει εξαιρετικά το ματς, κατακτώντας τα δύο πρώτα σετ, με 7-6 και 6-3. Ωστόσο ο Ρώσος κατάφερε να αντιδράσει και να κάνει τη μεγάλη ανατροπή. Πήρε το τρίτο σετ με 7-6, το τέταρτο με 7-5 και το τελευταίο το οποίο είχε διάρκεια μία ώρα με 6-4.

Αυτή είναι η δεύτερη χρονιά στη σειρά που ο Ρώσος προκρίνεται στα ημιτελικά του Australian Open.

To παιχνίδι μεταξύ των δύο αθλητών είναι προγραμματισμένο για την Παρασκευή, ωστόσο ακόμη δεν έχει διευκρινισθεί η ώρα της έναρξης.
