Την γλίτωσε στα πέναλτι ο Παναιτωλικός

Έφτασε κοντά σε... σοκ, όμως τελικά προκρίθηκε ο Παναιτωλικός!

Οι Αγρινιώτες των 11 απουσιών κόντεψαν να την... πατήσουν και πάλι από ομάδα χαμηλότερης κατηγορίας, όπως πέρυσι με την Καλαμάτι, όμως τελικά νίκησαν με 4-3 στα πέναλτι τον Διαγόρα Ρόδου (μετά το 1-1 στην κανονική διάρκεια) και προκρίθηκαν στους «16» του Κυπέλλου, με ήρωα τον Αντώνη Στεργιάκη, που απέκρουσε  δύο εκτελέσεις. Ο Παναιτωλικός προηγήθηκε από νωρίς με τον Βοΐλη, ωστόσο έχασε γρήγορα το προβάδισμά του χάρη σε πέναλτι του Μανιά.
