Τρεις μήνες εκτός δράσης ο Βέλεθ

Αρκετά δυσάρεστα είναι τα μαντάτα  στον Άρη όσον αφορά τη σοβαρότητα του τραυματισμού του Βέλεθ. Τρεις μήνες εκτός δράσης (και όχι δύο όπως είχε φανεί πριν τις εξετάσεις) θα μείνει ο Ισπανός τεχνικός. Οι εξετάσεις, στις οποίες υποβλήθηκε έδειξαν ότι πρόκειται για θλάση 3ου βαθμού στον ορθό μηριαίο μεν, αλλά και μερική αποκόλληση του τένοντα. Αποφασίστηκε, μάλιστα, να μπει στο χειρουργείο, ώστε να σημειωθεί νωρίτερα η αποκατάσταση. Υπενθυμίζεται ότι ο 32χρονος αμυντικός επέστρεψε στον Άρη τον περασμένο Σεπτέμβριο, έπειτα από τρία χρόνια απουσίας και πρόλαβε να κάνει μόλις δύο συμμετοχές. Τραυματίστηκε κατά τη διάρκεια της μίνι προετοιμασίας των «κίτρινων» στην Πτολεμαΐδα.
