Χωρίς Σαμάτα η Τανζανία

Η εθνική Τανζανίας δίνει «τελικό» πρόκρισης απέναντι στην Αλγερία, όπου αναζητά τον βαθμό εκτός έδρας για να εξασφαλίσει την παρουσία της στα τελικά του Κυπέλλου Εθνών Αφρικής.

Στην προσπάθειά της αυτή, η εθνική Τανζανίας θα στερηθεί τις υπηρεσίες του Αλί Σαμάτα. Ο σέντερ φορ του ΠΑΟΚ έχει αποχωρήσει ήδη από την αποστολή της εθνικής ομάδας της χώρας του και έχει επιστρέψει ήδη στη Θεσσαλονίκη, έχοντας επικαλεστεί προσωπικούς λόγους.

Πέραν του Σαμάτα, ο «δικέφαλος του βορρά» υπενθυμίζεται πως έχει άλλους δύο παίκτες που αγωνίζονται στα προκριματικά της αφρικανικής ζώνης. Τον Γουίλιαμ Τροστ-Εκόνγκ με τη Νιγηρία και τον Μπάμπα Ράχμαν με την Γκάνα.
