Και επίσημα στην Τότεναμ ο Τίμο Βέρνερ!

Λίγες ώρες μετά τη συμφωνία μεταξύ των «σπιρουνιών» και της Λειψίας, ο Γερμανός φορ, ανακοινώθηκε από την ομάδα του Λονδίνου ως δανεικός για τους επόμενους έξι μήνες! Μάλιστα η Τότεναμ διατηρεί και οψιόν για την αγορά του παίκτη το επόμενο καλοκαίρι!

Έτσι ο Βέρνερ επιστρέφει στο Λονδίνο έξι μόλις μήνες μετά την αποχώρηση του από την Τσέλσι. Tη φετινή σεζόν με τη Λειψία, ο 27χρονος ποδοσφαιριστής κατέγραψε μόλις 14 συμμετοχές σε όλες τις διοργανώσεις, σκοράροντας δύο τέρματα και μοιράζοντας μια ασίστ.
