Οι επαφές των «κιτρινόμαυρων» με τον Αμερικανό γκαρντ είχαν αίσιο τέλος και οδήγησαν σε συμφωνία.

Έτσι, υπογράφηκε συμβόλαιο ως το τέλος της σεζόν με τον μέχρι πρότινος άσο των Καβαλίερς (που μετράει συνολικά 277 παιχνίδια στο NBA).
