Μάντζιος: «Θα φέρουμε το Κύπελλο στη Θεσσαλονίκη!»

Ο Άρης διοργάνωσε ένα λαμπερό γκαλά για τα 110 χρόνια ιστορίας του, στο οποίο παρευρέθηκαν σπουδαίοι καλεσμένοι και πολλαπλές ξεχωριστές μορφές της ομάδας.

Το παρόν έδωσε και ο νυν προπονητής του ποδοσφαιρικού τμήματος, Άκης Μάντζιος. Ο Έλληνας τεχνικός βράβευσε την τελευταία ομάδα των «κίτρινων» που κατέκτησε τίτλο, και συγκεκριμένα αυτή της σεζόν 1969-1970 που στέφθηκε κυπελλούχος Ελλάδας.

Μάλιστα, ο Μάντζιος υποσχέθηκε τη νίκη του Άρη επί του Παναθηναϊκού στον τελικό του φετινού Κυπέλλου Betsson, τονίζοντας πως θα φέρει την κούπα ξανά στη Θεσσαλονίκη.

«Θα διεκδικήσουμε το κύπελλο και θα το φέρουμε στη Θεσσαλονίκη», είπε μεταξύ άλλων επί του θέματος ο προπονητής του Άρη.
