Μπάιντεν: Το μήνυμα προς το Ιράν είναι "μην το κάνετε!"

Ο Αμερικανός πρόεδρος Τζο Μπάιντεν δήλωσε σήμερα ότι αναμένει το Ιράν να αναλάβει "σύντομα" δράση, απαντώντας σε ερώτηση σχετικά με τις ιρανικές απειλές για αντίποινα εναντίον του Ισραήλ, και κάλεσε την Τεχεράνη να μην επιτεθεί.

"Δεν θέλω να δώσω εμπιστευτικές πληροφορίες, αλλά περιμένω αυτό να είναι σύντομα", είπε ο πρόεδρος Μπάιντεν, ο οποίος απάντησε επίσης σε ερώτηση σχετικά με το μήνυμα που θα ήθελε να στείλει στην Τεχεράνη: "Μην το κάνετε!", τόνισε.

Μιλώντας στους δημοσιογράφους, ο Μπάιντεν δήλωσε επίσης: "Είμαστε αφοσιωμένοι στην υπεράσπιση του Ισραήλ. Θα στηρίξουμε το Ισραήλ. Θα βοηθήσουμε στην υπεράσπιση του Ισραήλ και το Ιράν δεν θα τα καταφέρει". Οι ΗΠΑ στέλνουν ενισχύσεις στη Μέση Ανατολή.
