Χανιά: Πυρκαγιά σε ορεινή περιοχή του Δήμου Καντάνου - Σελίνου

Σε πλήρη εξέλιξη βρίσκεται επιχείρηση της Πυροσβεστικής Υπηρεσίας στα Χανιά, για την κατάσβεση πυρκαγιάς σε ορεινή περιοχή του χωριού Τεμένια του Δήμου Καντάνου-Σελίνου.

Στο σημείο της δασικής πυρκαγιάς έχουν σπεύσει 14 οχήματα και επιχειρούν 45 πυροσβέστες, ενώ το έργο της κατάσβεσης καθιστούν δύσκολο οι ισχυροί άνεμοι που πνέουν στην περιοχή. Επίσης, επιχειρούν δύο πεζοπόρα τμήματα της 3ης ΕΜΟΔΕ με 14 άτομα, ενώ ήδη στο σημείο βρίσκονται για ενίσχυση της επιχείρησης και υδροφόρα οχήματα του Δήμου.
