Αυτό, τουλάχιστον, αναφέρει η έγκυρη ''El Pais'', που τονίζει ότι ο παίκτης πέρασε με επιτυχία τις απαραίτητες ιατρικές εξετάσεις και ταξιδεύει άμεσα για Θεσσαλονίκη, προκειμένου να υπογράψει στον «δικέφαλο του Βορρά»!

 

Οι Ουρουγουανοί αναφέρουν, επίσης, ότι ο ΠΑΟΚ έχει έρθει σε συμφωνία τόσο με τον Κουαλιάτα όσο και με τη Μοντεβιδέο Γουόντερερς, με τη μετακίνηση του 22χρονο μέσου να βρίσκεται στην τελική ευθεία.
