Κόντρα στην Εκατερίνα Αλεξαντρόβα θα ξεκινήσει η Μαρία Σάκκαρη την προσπάθειά της στο χιλιάρι τουρνουά της Ρώμης.

Η Ρωσία Νο31 του κόσμου επιβλήθηκε της Αμερικανίδας Σλόουν Στίβενς με 6-1, 6-2 σε μόλις 53 λεπτά και τσέκαρε το εισιτήριο για τη συνέχεια.
