Προγνωστικά Πέμπτης. Οι απουσίες θα παίξουν τον ρόλο τους

Ημιτελικός League Cup στην Αγγλία ανάμεσα σε Λίβερπουλ και Άρσεναλ στα προγνωστικά Πέμπτης. Με πολλές αλλαγές και νεαρούς παίκτες αγωνίστηκε στο Κύπελλο Αγγλίας η γηπεδούχος, απέναντι στην Σριούσμπερι (League One) την Κυριακή. Βρέθηκε πίσω στο σκορ νωρίς, όμως έφτασε σε νίκη-πρόκριση με 4-1. Θύελλα αντιδράσεων προκάλεσε η δήλωση του Κλοπ πως τα τεστ COVID-19 της προηγούμενης εβδομάδας βγήκαν «ψευδώς θετικά», κάτι που οδήγησε σε αναβολή της αναμέτρησης με την Άρσεναλ. Ίσως προκύψει έρευνα από την Αγγλική Ομοσπονδία.

Απογοητευτική εμφάνιση πραγματοποίησε η Άρσεναλ την Κυριακή στην έδρα της Νότιγχαμ Φόρεστ και με σκορ 1-0 έμεινε εκτός συνέχειας του Κυπέλλου Αγγλίας. Χάλασε το καλό κλίμα που υπήρχε στην ομάδα αυτό το αποτέλεσμα. Σίγουρα θα ψάξει την πρόκριση στον τελικό του League Cup, αλλά δε παύει ο βασικός στόχος να είναι η τετράδα στο πρωτάθλημα και η έξοδος στο Τσάμπιονς Λιγκ.
