Πρόκριση με «τεσσάρα» για την Κρίσταλ Πάλας

Εντυπωσιακή Κρίσταλ Πάλας, σκόρπισε στους... τέσσερις ανέμους την Έβερτον! Οι Λονδρέζοι διέλυσαν 4-0 εντός έδρας την ομάδα του Φρανκ Λάμπαρντ και έκλεισαν θέση για τα ημιτελικά του FA Cup.

Οι γηπεδούχοι έπιασαν υψηλές ταχύτητες πετυχαίνοντας από δύο γκολ σε κάθε ημίχρονο. Ο Γκουεχί με κεφαλιά από το ύψος της μικρής περιοχής άνοιξε το σκορ στο 25', για να ακολουθήσει στο 41' μια εξαιρετική ανάπτυξη των γηπεδούχων από τα αριστερά κι ένα σουτ του Ματετά μεταξύ πέναλτι και μικρής περιοχής για το 2-0.

Τα επόμενα δύο τέρματα σημειώθηκαν προς το τέλος της αναμέτρησης. Στο 79' ο Ζαχά πήρε το «ριμπάουντ» -ύστερα από δοκάρι των Λονδρέζων- για το 3-0, ενώ το τελικό σκορ διαμόρφωσε ο Χιουζ στο 87'.
