Αλόνσο: «Είμαστε περήφανοι για αυτά που έκαναν οι παίκτες μας»

Ευχαριστημένος και περήφανος με την προσπάθεια που κατέβαλαν οι ποδοσφαιριστές του Παναθηναϊκού παρά τον αποκλεισμό από τον Άγιαξ, δήλωσε πως νιώθει στη συνέντευξη Τύπου ο Ντιέγκο Αλόνσο.

Ο προπονητής των «πρασίνων» ζήτησε συγγνώμη από τον κόσμο της ομάδας για το γεγονός πως δεν ήρθε η πρόκριση, ωστόσο, τονίζοντας πως ο σύλλογος έχει μπει στον σωστό δρόμο για να έρθουν οι επιτυχίες.

Αναλυτικά οι δηλώσεις του Ντιέγκο Αλόνσο:

«Είμαστε περήφανοι για αυτά που έκαναν οι παίκτες. Περηφάνια είναι η σωστή λέξη. Ήρθαμε να παίξουμε απέναντι σε τοπ αντίπαλο, σε μια τρομερή έδρα. Είχαμε προσωπικότητα. Λυπούμαστε που δεν θα συνεχίσουμε. Αφιερώνουμε την προσπάθεια μας στους φιλάθλους μας. Μακάρι να μπορούμε από παιχνίδι σε παιχνίδι να έχουμε βελτίωση.

Τώρα είναι το ματς της Κυριακής. Όλα τα παιχνίδια είναι σημαντικά. Όλα. Λυπούμαστε που δεν θα έχει κόσμο. Είμαστε πεπεισμένοι πως οι φίλαθλοι θα μας ακολουθούν και θα είναι δίπλα μας. Όπου και αν παίζουμε αυτός είναι ο δρόμος που πρέπει να ακολουθήσουμε».
