Ζαφείρης: «Όνειρό μου είναι να παίξω ένα μεγάλο τουρνουά με την Εθνική ομάδα!»

Ο Xρήστος Ζαφείρης αποτελεί ένα από τα νέα πρόσωπα της Εθνικής ομάδας.

Παρότι αγωνιζόταν εδώ και χρόνια με τις εθνικές ομάδες Νέων της Νορβηγίας, τους τελευταίους μήνες η νέα διοίκηση της ΕΠΟ σε συνεννόηση με τον νέο προπονητή της Εθνικής μας, Ιβάν Γιοβάνοβιτς, «κίνησαν τα νήματα» και προσέγγισαν τον γεννημένο στην χώρα μας 21χρονο μέσο, ο οποίος τελικά επέλεξε να φορέσει τη «γαλανόλευκη».

 

  

Μάλιστα, ο νεαρός κλήθηκε από τον Σέρβο τεχνικό στην αποστολή της ομάδας για τους αγώνες Nations League κόντρα σε Φινλανδία (07/09) και Ιρλανδία (10/09) και αναμένεται να κάνει το ντεμπούτο του φορώντας το εθνόσημο.

Ο ίδιος έκανε δηλώσεις στο επίσημο κανάλι της ΕΠΟ και στάθηκε στην επιθυμία του εδώ και χρόνια να εκπροσωπήσει την Ελλάδα, το όνειρό του να το κάνει αυτό σε ένα μεγάλο τουρνουά, αλλά και τη μεγάλη σημασία του Ιβάν Γιοβάνοβιτς στην απόφασή του.
