Πρεμιέρα Τσιτσιπά με Κοκκκινάκη

Αύριο ξεκινά το τουρνουά του Βερολίνου «Laver Cup» και το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει δύο αγώνες, με τον Στέφανο Τσιτσιπά να παίζει το μεσημέρι κόντρα στον ομογενή Αυστραλό, Θανάση Κοκκινάκη, από τον οποίο ηττήθηκε στο U.S. Open.

    Ο Ελληνας πρωταθλητής είναι μέλος της Team Europe και να σημειωθεί πως κάθε νίκη την πρώτη μέρα δίνει ένα βαθμό, τη δεύτερη δύο βαθμούς και την τρίτη τρεις βαθμούς. Νικήτρια ομάδα αναδεικνύεται αυτή που θα φτάσει πρώτη τους 13 βαθμούς. Σε περίπτωση ισοπαλίας 12-12, θα διεξαχθεί ένας επιπλέον αγώνας διπλού που θα κριθεί σε ένα σετ με τάι μπρέικ.

    Εκτός από τον Τσιτσιπά στην ομάδα της Ευρώπης είναι επίσης οι Γκριγκόρ Ντιμιτρόφ, Κάρλος Αλκαράθ, Σάσα Ζβέρεφ, Ντανίλ Μεντβέντεφ, Κάσπερ Ρουντ, που θα έχουν απέναντί τους την Team World των Τέιλορ Φριτζ, Μπεν Σέλτον, Φράνσις Τιάφοου, Αλεχάντρο Ταμπίλο, Φραν Σερούντολο και Θανάση Κοκκινάκη.
