Mε το "δεξί" στο διπλό ο Τσιτσιπάς!

Ιδανικότερη συνεργασία δεν θα μπορούσαν να ονειρευτούν στην πρεμιέρα τους στο διπλό του Miami Open οι Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς και Θανάσης Κοκκινάκης. Χρειάστηκαν μόλις 64 λεπτά για να επικρατήσουν με 2-0 επί των Αυστραλών Άλεξ ντε Μινόρ και Ρίνκι Χιτσικάτα (6-3, 6-4) και να προκριθούν στον 2ο γύρο του τουρνουά. 

Τσιτσιπάς και Κοκκινάκης τελείωσαν το παιχνίδι με πέντε άσους (κανένα διπλό λάθος), κέρδισαν 89% των πόντων πίσω από το πρώτο σερβίς (31/35) και 69% στο δεύτερο (9/13), δεν έδωσαν την ευκαιρία στους αντιπάλους τους για να φθάσουν σε μπρέικ-πόιντ, ενώ αντίθετα, εκμεταλλεύτηκαν τις δύο από τις οκτώ ευκαιρίες που τους δόθηκαν για να «σπάσουν» το σερβίς των αντιπάλων τους. 

Στην επόμενη φάση θα τεθούν αντιμέτωποι με το δυνατό δίδυμο των Ραμ (ΗΠΑ)/Σάλσμπουρι (Μ. Βρετανία), οι οποίοι επικράτησαν επί των Μπλούμπεργκ (ΗΠΑ)/Ρουντ (Νορβηγία) με 7-6(5), 6-4.
