Ανατροπή και προβάδισμα στις καθυστερήσεις για τη Γαλατασαράι

Αν και βρέθηκε πίσω στο σκορ από πολύ νωρίς από το γκολ του Έλιγκσεν στο 8', η ποιότητα της Γαλατασαράι ήταν αρκετή για να φέρει τα... πάνω-κάτω και να φτάσει εντέλει στις καθυστερήσεις σε ένα μεγάλο διπλό στην έδρα της Μόλντε με 3-2, δίνοντάς της το προβάδισμα ενόψει της ρεβάνς της επόμενης Τρίτης (29/8). Η τουρκική ομάδα έφτασε στην ανατροπή μέσα σε πέντε λεπτά με τα γκολ των Ολιβέιρα (25') και Ικάρντι (29'), όμως οι Νορβηγοί αποδείχθηκαν... πεισματάρηδες, ισοφαρίζοντας στο 56' με τον Χάουγκεν. Στο τρίτο λεπτό των καθυσυερήσεων ο Μίντζγιο από ασίστ του Ικάρντι διαμόρφωσε το τελικό 3-2 επί της τουρκικής ομάδας.

Την ίδια ώρα η Μακάμπι Χάιφα και η Γιουνγκε Μπόις έμειναν στο 0-0 στο Ισραήλ μετά από ένα κακό ποιοτικά ματς κι όλα θα ξεκαθαρίσουν σε έξι βράδια στη ρεβάνς που θα διεξαχθεί στην Ελβετία.
