Ανεμοστρόβιλος στον Πύργο προκάλεσε ζημιές σε σπίτια και καταστήματα

Ζημιές σε σπίτια και καταστήματα προκάλεσε το κύμα κακοκαιρίας που έπληξε την περιοχή του Πύργου, της Ηλείας. Όπως ανέφερε, μιλώντας στο Αθηναϊκό - Μακεδονικό Πρακτορείο Ειδήσεων, ο δήμαρχος Πύργου, Στάθης Καννής, «ένας ανεμοστρόβιλος, ο οποίος "κτύπησε" το βράδυ του Σαββάτου, την ανατολική πλευρά της πόλης, στην περιοχή της οδού Αλφειού, προκάλεσε ζημιές σε επιχειρήσεις και σπίτια, καθώς έσπασαν υαλοπίνακες, ξηλώθηκαν στέγες και τέντες, ενώ αποκολλήθηκαν ακόμη και ηλιακοί θερμοσίφωνες».

 

 

 

Επίσης, όπως είπε ο δήμαρχος Πύργου, «λόγω των ισχυρών ανέμων καταγράφηκαν πολλές πτώσεις δέντρων, ενώ διακόπηκε η ηλεκτροδότηση σε σημεία της οδού Αλφειού». Σύμφωνα με τον Στάθη Καννή, «από νωρίς σήμερα το πρωί συνεργεία έχουν ήδη ξεκινήσει την καταγραφή των ζημιών».
