Β. Κικίλιας: Συμφωνία του ΕΟΤ με 10 αεροπορικές εταιρίες, για ενίσχυση των πτήσεων προς Ελλάδα

Για τις πολύ υψηλές πληρότητες που κατέγραψαν τα ξενοδοχεία και τα καταλύματα την εορταστική περίοδο, για την επέκταση της τουριστικής περιόδου που φέτος έγινε πράξη, καθώς και για τις πρωτοβουλίες που έχουν ληφθεί με στόχο την ενίσχυση των χειμερινών/ ορεινών προορισμών ακόμα και off season, μίλησε ο υπουργός Τουρισμού Βασίλης Κικίλιας σε συνέντευξη που παραχώρησε στον τηλεοπτικό σταθμό ΑΝΤ1.

Ο κ. Κικίλιας αναφέρθηκε στην κλήρωση του Προγράμματος «Τουρισμός για Όλους» που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στα τέλη Γενάρη, αφορά 125.000 άυλες ψηφιακές κάρτες και αναμένεται να ενισχύσει σημαντικά τον εγχώριο τουρισμό τους επόμενους μήνες. Όπως είπε, στο πλαίσιο στήριξης των χειμερινών/ορεινών προορισμών ο ΕΟΤ υπέγραψε συμφωνίες με 10 αεροπορικές εταιρείες για extra αεροπορικές συνδέσεις τους μήνες Νοέμβριο, Δεκέμβριο, Ιανουάριο, Φεβρουάριο και Μάρτιο, σε συνέχεια της εξαγγελίας του πρωθυπουργού Κυριάκου Μητσοτάκη ενώ παράλληλα οι απευθείας πτήσεις από ΗΠΑ που ήταν προγραμματισμένο να έχουν σταματήσει πριν από δύο μήνες, επεκτάθηκαν μέχρι και τον Ιανουάριο.

Σημαντική τονωτική ένεση για τους επαγγελματίες του κλάδου αποτελούν, όπως ανέφερε ο κ. Κικίλιας, και τα 100 εκατομμύρια ευρώ που έδωσε η κυβέρνηση μέσω του προγράμματος «Εξοικονομώ-Επιχειρώ» για την ενεργειακή αναβάθμιση ορεινών καταλυμάτων κάτω των 150 κλινών καθώς και η επέκταση του ΕΣΠΑ για ένα επιπλέον έτος.
