Διακόπηκε και θα συνεχιστεί αύριο ο αγώνας του Τσιτσιπά

Ο εναρκτήριος αγώνας του Στέφανου Τσιτσιπά στο Όπεν της Βαρκελώνης, απέναντι στον Ίλια Ιβάσκα για τον β΄ γύρο του τουρνουά, ξεκίνησε αλλά δεν ολοκληρώθηκε λόγω της βροχής και θα συνεχιστεί αύριο (21/4).

 

Μάλιστα το παιχνίδι διακόπηκε δύο φορές, τη δεύτερη οριστικά. Η πρώτη ήταν αμέσως μετά το πρώτο γκέιμ, που κατάκτησε ο Έλληνας πρωταθλητής. Τότε η ένταση της βροχής αυξήθηκε και οι δύο αθλητές πήγαν στα αποδυτήρια.

 

Ύστερα από αρκετή ώρα επέστρεψαν στο γήπεδο, ο Τσιτσιπάς βρήκε ρυθμό και με δύο break προηγήθηκε με 5-1 αλλά ο ουρανός της Καταλονίας είχε άλλα... σχέδια και η βροχή επέστρεψε καταρρακτώδης, με αποτέλεσμα την οριστική διακοπή του αγώνα, όπως και των υπόλοιπων που βρίσκονταν σε εξέλιξη και οι οποίοι θα συνεχιστούν επίσης τη μεγάλη Πέμπτη.
