Επαγγελματία έκανε τον Βασίλη Αρχοντακάκη ο Αστέρας Τρίπολης, όπως έκανε γνωστό με ανακοίνωσή του. Οι Αρκάδες συνεχίζουν την προσφιλή τακτική τους να δίνουν ευκαιρίες σε νέα παιδιά από τις ακαδημίες της ομάδας και φυσικά να παίρνουν χρόνο συμμετοχής στην πρώτη ομάδα.

Έτσι, οι «κυανοκίτρινοι» ανακοίνωσαν την ένταξη του μόλις 17χρονου πορτιέρο (σ.σ. γεννημένος στις 13 Οκτωβρίου του 2006)   στην πρώτη ομάδα
