ΗΠΑ: Ο δράστης των φονικών πυρών στην Καλιφόρνια διαφεύγει ακόμη, είναι "άνδρας ασιατικής καταγωγής", δηλώνει ο σερίφης

Ο ύποπτος ως δράστης των φονικών πυρών στην Καλιφόρνια από τα οποία έχασαν τη ζωή τους 10 άνθρωποι σε αίθουσα χορού στην Καλιφόρνια το βράδυ του Σαββάτου κατά τη διάρκεια των εορτασμών του Σεληνιακού Νέου 'Έτους είναι ένας "άνδρας ασιατικής καταγωγής" που εξακολουθεί να διαφεύγει, σχεδόν 11 ώρες μετά την επίθεση, δήλωσε σήμερα ο σερίφης της κομητείας του Λος Άντζελες.

"Αυτή την ώρα, η πολύ προκαταρκτική μας περιγραφή είναι αυτή ενός άνδρα ασιατικής καταγωγής", δήλωσε ο σερίφης Ρόμπερτ Λούνα κατά τη διάρκεια συνέντευξης Τύπου στο Μόντερεϊ Παρκ, πόλη της οποίας η πλειονότητα των κατοίκων είναι ασιατικής καταγωγής.

Ο δράστης πιστεύεται ότι είναι από 30 έως 50 ετών, βάσει της περιγραφής αυτοπτών μαρτύρων, δήλωσαν αξιωματούχοι των αρχών επιβολής του νόμου.

Η κατάσταση των δέκα τραυματιών από τους μαζικούς πυροβολισμούς στο Μόντερεϊ Παρκ, στην Καλιφόρνια, είναι από σταθερή έως κρίσιμη, δήλωσε ο σερίφης προσθέτοντας ότι πέντε γυναίκες και πέντε άνδρες σκοτώθηκαν στην σφαγή, οι ηλικίες τους δεν έχουν γίνει ακόμη γνωστές.

Οι αρχές ερευνούν ακόμη το κίνητρο της επίθεσης με τα πυρά που σημειώθηκε αργά το βράδυ του Σαββάτου (τοπική ώρα), τόνισε ο σερίφης.
