ΗΠΑ: Το ΔΝΤ αναθεώρησε προς τα επάνω την πρόβλεψη για την οικονομική ανάπτυξη το 2023

Το Διεθνές Νομισματικό Ταμείο αναθεώρησε προς τα επάνω τις προβλέψεις του για την ανάπτυξη στις ΗΠΑ το 2023, ανακοίνωσε σήμερα η γενική διευθύντριά του, Κρισταλίνα Γκεοργκίεβα.

Με βάση αυτή τη νέα πρόβλεψη, η ανάπτυξη εκτιμάται ότι θα κυμανθεί στο +1,7%, αντί για 1,6%.

«Η αμερικανική οικονομία αποδείχτηκε ανθεκτική, παρά τους σημαντικούς περιορισμούς στη νομισματική και δημοσιονομική πολιτική που επιβλήθηκαν το 2022», σχολίασε το ΔΝΤ στην ανακοίνωσή του υπογραμμίζοντας ωστόσο ότι «ο πληθωρισμός παραμένει ένα πρόβλημα που επιμένει».
