Η Κροατία θα ενταχθεί στο χώρο Σένγκεν την 1η Ιανουαρίου 2023, αποφάσισε το Συμβούλιο Εσωτερικών Υποθέσεων της ΕΕ

Οι Υπουργοί Εσωτερικών Υποθέσεων της ΕΕ, ενέκριναν σήμερα την ένταξη της Κροατίας στο χώρο Σένγκεν, από την 1η Ιανουαρίου 2023.   Αυτό ανακοίνωσε η Τσεχική Προεδρία του Συμβουλίου της ΕΕ, με ανάρτηση της στο twitter, εκφράζοντας ικανοποίηση για το γεγονός ότι η ζώνη Σένγκεν διευρύνεται για πρώτη φορά μετά από περισσότερο από μία δεκαετία. Αντιθέτως, δεν υπήρξε ομοφωνία στο Συμβούλιο Εσωτερικών Υποθέσεων της ΕΕ για την ένταξη της Ρουμανίας και της Βουλγαρίας στο χώρο Σένγκεν, παρά τη θετική αξιολόγηση της Επιτροπής ότι οι δύο χώρες πληρούν τις προϋποθέσεις ένταξης στο Σένγκεν.    πηγή amna.gr
