Η Μπάρτι «βασίλισσα» στο Australian Open

Η Άσλεϊ Μπάρτι κατέκτησε για πρώτη φορά στην καριέρα της τον τίτλο στο Australian Open. Η Αυστραλή τενίστρια, η οποία είναι Νο 1 στην παγκόσμια κατάταξη, επιβλήθηκε στον σημερινό τελικό της Αμερικανίδας Ντανιέλ Κόλινς με 6-3, 7-6(2), ύστερα από αγώνα διάρκειας 87 λεπτών, και κατέκτησε τον τίτλο τίτλο σε τουρνουά γκραν σλαμ στην καριέρα της μετά το Ρολάν Γκαρός του 2019 και το Γουίμπλεντον του 2021.

 

Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι η Μπάρτι είναι η πρώτη τενίστρια από την Αυστραλία που κατακτά το Australian Open μετά την Κρις Ο'Νιλ και το 1978.
