Η Χαμάς απελευθέρωσε 14 ομήρους, δέκα Ισραηλινούς και τέσσερις Ταϊλανδούς

Η Χαμάς απελευθέρωσε απόψε 14 ομήρους τους οποίους παρέδωσε στη Διεθνή Επιτροπή του Ερυθρού Σταυρού, επιβεβαίωσαν οι ισραηλινές ένοπλες δυνάμεις.

Στο πλαίσιο της συμφωνίας για την ανταλλαγή κρατουμένων, η παλαιστινιακή ισλαμιστική οργάνωση που ελέγχει τη Λωρίδα της Γάζας απελευθέρωσε 10 ισραηλινούς ομήρους, συμπεριλαμβανομένων πέντε εφήβων. Ο Μάτζιντ αλ Ανσάρι, εκπρόσωπος του υπουργείου Εξωτερικών του Κατάρ, διευκρίνισε πως τέσσερις εξ αυτών έχουν διπλή υπηκοότητα: τρεις με γερμανική, ένας με ολλανδική και ένας με αμερικανική. Όπως ανέφερε σε ανάρτησή του στην πλατφόρμα X (πρώην Twitter), επίκειται η αποφυλάκιση 30 Παλαιστινίων: 14 γυναικών και 16 ανηλίκων.

Εκτός του πλαισίου συμφωνίας για την ανταλλαγή κρατουμένων, η Χαμάς άφησε επίσης ελεύθερους τέσσερις Ταϊλανδούς.

Νωρίτερα σήμερα, είχε απελευθερώσει δύο Ρωσοϊσραηλινές ως ένδειξη ευγνωμοσύνης για «την υποστήριξη του (προέδρου της Ρωσίας) Βλαντίμιρ Πούτιν στο παλαιστινιακό ζήτημα». Οι δύο γυναίκες, ηλικίας 50 και 73 ετών, είχαν απαχθεί από το κιμπούτζ Νιρ Οζ κατά την επίθεση που εξαπέλυσε η Χαμάς στις 7 Οκτωβρίου.
