Ιδανικό ξεκίνημα στην Ισπανία για Αλεξόγλου, Πασχαλάκη και Κεσκίνη, Κοντοστάθη

Με νίκες χωρίς απώλεια σετ ξεκίνησαν την πορεία τους στο Ευρωπαϊκό πρωτάθλημα μπιτς βόλεϊ Κ18 στη Μαδρίτη οι Εβρίτες Κυριάκος Κεσκίνης, Ανδρέας Κοντοστάθης και οι Θεσσαλονικιές Ελένη Αλεξόγλου, Μυρτώ Πασχαλάκη.

Αλεξόγλου και Πασχαλάκη παρά το νεαρό της ηλικίας τους έδειξαν το ταλέντο τους και στο ξεκίνημά τους στην πρωτεύουσα της Ισπανίας, επικρατώντας στην πρεμιέρα του Β' ομίλου με 2-0 (21-09, 21-11) των Λιο, Σκόβσκαρντ από τη Δανία. Την Παρασκευή 25/8 η ελληνική ομάδα θα αντιμετωπίσει το πρωί τις Ισπανίδες Μενεγκόζο, Βαν Λάερ και το απόγευμα τις Ελβετίδες Μπόσαρτ, Στολζ.

Ιδανική αρχή έκαναν και οι Κεσκίνης, Κοντοστάθης που επιβλήθηκαν των Γερμανών Γιόχανινγκ και Σάκερμαν με 2-0 (21-13, 21-18) σετ και έβαλαν πλώρη για την απευθείας πρόκριση στους 16 της διοργάνωσης. Στις 17.30 αντιμετωπίζουν τους Άγγλους Πέρι, Μπάντον και την Παρασκευή το πρωί τους Βέλγους Βαν Χουτ, Χέντρικχ.
