Ιδιαίτερα κολακευτικές αναφορές για τη Μήλο από τα γαλλικά ΜΜΕ

Ιδιαίτερα κολακευτικές αναφορές επιφυλάσσουν για τη Μήλο έγκυρα γαλλικά μέσα ενημέρωσης, με πρώτη της εφημερίδα Le Figaro, η οποία αναφέρει για την Μήλο, ότι είναι γνωστή από την Αφροδίτη που εκτίθεται στο Λούβρο, ενώ την ανακαλύπτουμε εκ νέου με έκπληξη για τους γεωλογικούς θησαυρούς της και συμπληρώνει : " Λευκό και μπλε όπως όλες οι Κυκλάδες; Περισσότερο από αυτό ! Γιατί στη Μήλο, ο άψογος λευκός κιμωλιακός βράχος δίνει στο γαλάζιο της θάλασσας απίστευτο βάθος και λάμψη;"

Η εφημερίδα προτρέπει τους αναγνώστες να επισκεφτούν το νησί γιατί είναι ο καλύτερος τρόπος για να απολαύσετε την ομορφιά όλων αυτών των σεληνιακών τοπίων.

Ανέγγιχτο ελληνικό νησί χαρακτηρίζει τη Μήλο και η γαλλική έκδοση του περιοδικού AD και χαρακτηρίζει τα τοπία, αντάξια των μεγάλων μύθων και τα πιο γαλάζια νερά των Κυκλάδων. Και προσθέτει : |Πάρτε για παράδειγμα την παραλία Σαρακίνικο. Οι τεράστιοι βράχοι του, λευκασμένοι από τον ήλιο και σχηματισμένοι από αλμυρό νερό, ξεπροβάλλουν πάνω από τη θάλασσα και μπορούν να παραπέμπουν σε ένα σεληνιακό τοπίο".
