Νετανιάχου: Ετοιμαζόμαστε για χερσαία επίθεση στη Γάζα

Οι ισραηλινές ένοπλες δυνάμεις προετοιμάζονται για χερσαία επίθεση στη Λωρίδα της Γάζας, επανέλαβε σήμερα ο πρωθυπουργός Μπενιαμίν Νετανιάχου σε τηλεοπτικό διάγγελμά του, χωρίς ωστόσο να υπεισέλθει σε περαιτέρω λεπτομέρειες σχετικά με το πότε θα ξεκινήσει η επιχείρηση. Αρκέστηκε να πει πως το πράσινο φως θα δώσει το πολεμικό συμβούλιο που έχει συγκροτηθεί.

Τόνισε πως προτεραιότητες είναι η απελευθέρωση των ομήρων και η διάλυση της Χαμάς, υπογραμμίζοντας χαρακτηριστικά πως όλα τα μέλη της παλαιστινιακής ισλαμιστικής οργάνωσης πρέπει να θεωρούνται «μελλοθάνατοι».

Σε ό,τι αφορά τις επικρίσεις για την αποτυχία των υπηρεσιών πληροφοριών να αποτρέψουν την άνευ προηγουμένου επίθεση της 7ης Οκτωβρίου, ο Νετανιάχου δεν έβγαλε τον εαυτό του από το κάδρο των ευθυνών. «Οι αστοχίες θα εξεταστούν και όλοι (οι υπεύθυνοι) θα λογοδοτήσουν, εμού συμπεριλαμβανομένου. Ωστόσο, όλα αυτά θα γίνουν μετά τον πόλεμο», ανέφερε.
