Ξανά «Χ» και νέα απώλεια βαθμών για την Νιούκαστλ

Παρά το καλό της ξεκίνημα, η Νιούκαστλ δεν μπόρεσε να περάσει το εμπόδιο της Γουέστ Χαμ και έμεινε στο 1-1 ενάντια στους Λονδρέζους.

Οι «Magpies» βρήκαν δίχτυα μόλις στο πρώτο λεπτό του αγώνα με τον Γουίλοκ, αλλά το γκολ ακυρώθηκε ορθά μετά την χρήση του VAR. Οι γηπεδούχοι, όμως, δεν αποθαρρύνθηκαν και σκόραραν ξανά με τον Κάλουμ Γουίλσον δύο λεπτά αργότερα. Ωστόσο, η Γουέστ Χαμ είχε απάντηση και ισοφάρισε στο 32' με τον Πακετά. Η Νιούκαστλ συνέχισε να πιέζει καθ'όλη τη διάρκεια του αγώνα, χωρίς να βρει δεύτερο γκολ κι έτσι πέταξε ξανά δύο βαθμούς.
