Οι ηθοποιοί του Χόλιγουντ αρχίζουν απεργία

Το ισχυρό συνδικάτο των Αμερικανών ηθοποιών ανακοίνωσε σήμερα ότι αρχίζει επίσημα απεργία από τα μεσάνυχτα τοπική ώρα (10 το πρωί Παρασκευής ώρα Ελλάδας), μετά την κατάρρευση των συνομιλιών με τα στούντιο, ανακοίνωσε σήμερα ο Ντάνκαν Κράμπτρι-Αϊρλαντ, ο επικεφαλής διαπραγματευτής του συνδικάτου των ηθοποιών SAG-AFTRA.

Η απόφαση αυτή αναμένεται να παραλύσει τελείως το Χόλιγουντ, όπου η παραγωγή ταινιών και σειρών γίνεται ήδη με μεγάλη βραδύτητα λόγω του κοινωνικού κινήματος των σεναριογράφων.

"Το εθνικό συμβούλιο του SAG-AFTRA ψήφισε ομόφωνα υπέρ της απεργίας κατά των στούντιο και των ραδιοτηλεοπτικών φορέων", δήλωσε ο Κράμπτρι-Αϊρλαντ, ο οποίος είναι και εθνικός εκτελεστικός διευθυντής του συνδικάτου που εκπροσωπεί 160.000 ηθοποιούς και άλλους επαγγελματίες της μεγάλης και της μικρής οθόνης.

Ο ίδιος πρόσθεσε ότι "ξέρουμε πως έχουμε την αλληλεγγύη των ηθοποιών από όλο τον κόσμο". Η απεργία αυτή γίνεται για να διασφαλίσουμε ότι ο βιοπορισμός των μελών μας δεν θα αφαιρεθεί από την τεχνητή νοημοσύνη, τόνισε.
