Οι Χούθι ανακοίνωσαν ότι έπληξαν με πυραύλους αμερικανικό φορτηγό πλοίο στον Κόλπο του Άντεν

Οι Χούθι ανακοίνωσαν απόψε πως εξαπέλυσαν πυραυλική επίθεση εναντίον αμερικανικού φορτηγού πλοίου στον Κόλπο του Άντεν, λίγες ώρες αφότου η κυβέρνηση των ΗΠΑ τους χαρακτήρισε ξανά «τρομοκρατική» οργάνωση.

Οι υποστηριζόμενοι από το Ιράν αντάρτες Χούθι εκτόξευσαν «πυραύλους εναντίον του αμερικανικού πλοίου Genco Picardy στον Κόλπο του Άντεν» και «έπληξαν τον στόχο τους», αναφέρει ο εκπρόσωπός τους Γιαχία Σαρία σε ανακοίνωση που εξέδωσε.

Προειδοποιεί ότι δεν θα διστάσουν να βάλουν στο στόχαστρο «κάθε πηγή απειλής στην Ερυθρά και την Αραβική Θάλασσα», προκειμένου «να υπερασπιστούν την Υεμένη» και να «υποστηρίξουν τον καταπιεσμένο παλαιστινιακό λαό».
