Οκτώ νεκροί από τις πλημμύρες στην Τουρκία

Οι καταρρακτώδεις βροχές που έπληξαν τη βορειοδυτική Τουρκία προχθές, Τρίτη, προκάλεσαν τον θάνατο οκτώ ανθρώπων, σύμφωνα με νεότερο απολογισμό που έδωσαν σήμερα οι αρχές.

Οι διασώστες επί του πεδίου στην επαρχία Κιρκλαρελί (Σαράντα Εκκλησιές), στα σύνορα με τη Βουλγαρία, εντόπισαν σήμερα το πτώμα ενός έκτου θύματος, που αναζητείτο εδώ και δύο ημέρες.

Άλλοι δύο άνθρωποι έχασαν τη ζωή τους το βράδυ της Τρίτης στην Κωνσταντινούπολη, τη μεγαλύτερη πόλη της χώρας ορισμένοι δρόμοι της οποίας μετατράπηκαν σε χείμαρρους.

Τα θύματα των πλημμυρών στην επαρχία Κιρκλαρελί, που βρίσκονταν στην περιοχή για διακοπές, εντοπίστηκαν σε ξύλινα σπιτάκια που είχαν κατασκευαστεί χωρίς άδεια, καταμεσής του δάσους, όταν οι καταρρακτώδεις βροχές έπεσαν στην περιοχή.

Έχει ξεκινήσει έρευνα και έχει εκδοθεί ένταλμα σύλληψης σε βάρος του ιδιοκτήτη τουριστικού γραφείου, ανακοίνωσε σήμερα ο Τούρκος υπουργός Δικαιοσύνης Γιλμάζ Τουντς.
