Πέντε συλλήψεις για απόπειρα εξαγοράς ψήφων στην Καρδίτσα

Πέντε άτομα συνελήφθησαν χτες το βράδυ,από αστυνομικούς της Ο.Π.Κ.Ε., σε περιοχή της Καρδίτσας, για παράβαση της εκλογικής νομοθεσίας.

Όπως ανακοινώθηκε από την Γενική Περιφερειακή Αστυνομική Διεύθυνση Θεσσαλίας κατά τη διάρκεια ελέγχου, εντός οχήματος ιδιοκτησίας ενός εκ των συλληφθέντων, βρέθηκαν 197 Δελτία Ταυτότητας, Διαβατήριο, 2 φωτοαντίγραφα Δελτίων Ταυτότητας καθώς και μία σακούλα με 114 κλειστούς φακέλους που έκαστος περιείχε κάρτα υποψήφιου Βουλευτή και 5 ψηφοδέλτια με «σταυρωμένο» το όνομα του συγκεκριμένου υποψήφιου.

Παράλληλα, στην κατοχή δύο εκ των συλληφθέντων βρέθηκε συνολικά το χρηματικό ποσό των 6.060 ευρώ.

Από το Τμήμα Ασφαλείας Καρδίτσας, που διενεργεί τη σχετική προανάκριση, κατασχεθήκαν όλα τα ανωτέρω ανευρεθέντα, καθώς από την έρευνα προκύπτουν στοιχεία για προσέγγιση ψηφοφόρων εντός οικισμού προκειμένου ψηφίσουν τον υποψήφιο Βουλευτή έναντι χρηματικού ποσού.

Οι συλληφθέντες θα οδηγηθούν στον Εισαγγελέα Πρωτοδικών Καρδίτσας .
