Σβηστά στον τελικό του Λιγκ Καπ η Γιουνάιτεντ

Χωρίς να παίξει εκπληκτικό ποδόσφαιρο, η Μάντσεστερ Γιουνάιτεντ επικράτησε 2-0 της Νότινγχαμ Φόρεστ και πέρασε στον τελικό του Λιγκ Καπ όπου θα αντιμετωπίσει την Νιούκαστλ στις 26 Φεβρουαρίου.

 

Έχοντας επικρατήσει με 3-0 στο «City Ground», η ομάδα του Έρικ Τεν Χαγκ μπήκε νωθρά στο πρώτο μέρος και δεν απείλησε. Στο δεύτερο ημίχρονο, όμως, βρήκε δύο γκολ μέσα σε τρία λεπτά (73' Α.Μαρσιάλ, 76' Φρεντ) και έφτασε εύκολα στην νίκη.

 

Οι «κόκκινοι διάβολοι» θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να κερδίσουν το πρώτο τους τρόπαιο από το 2017.
