Σκληρή απάντηση του ΥΠΕΘΑ στους τουρκικούς ισχυρισμούς για την πτήση αμερικανικών αεροσκαφών Β-52 στο FIR Αθηνών

Με αφορμή ισχυρισμούς της τουρκικής πλευράς σχετικά με την χθεσινή πτήση αμερικανικών αεροσκαφών Β-52 στο FIR Αθηνών, το υπουργείο Εθνικής 'Αμυνας εξέδωσε απόψε ανακοίνωση, με την οποία χαρακτηρίζει ψευδή οποιαδήποτε άλλη περιγραφή των σχετικών γεγονότων και αποσαφηνίζει τα εξής:          - Κατόπιν συνεννόησης και συμφωνίας μεταξύ ΓΕΕΘΑ και Αεροπορικής Διοίκησης (AIRCOM) του ΝΑΤΟ, τις μεσημβρινές ώρες της 22ας Αυγούστου 2022, έλαβε χώρα πτήση αμερικανικών αεροσκαφών Β-52 στο FIR Αθηνών.    - Τα Β-52 εισήλθαν από το νοτιοδυτικό όριο του FIR Αθηνών προκειμένου να εξέλθουν απ' αυτό δυτικά της Μεγίστης. Η πτήση των εν λόγω αεροσκαφών, έλαβε χώρα στο πλαίσιο επίδειξης διασυμμαχικής συνοχής και αλληλεγγύης.    - Ενώ η κίνηση των B-52 δεν προβλεπόταν να γίνει με συνοδεία μαχητικών αεροσκαφών, όπως έχει συμβεί και άλλες φορές στο παρελθόν, πέντε άγνωστα ίχνη αέρος κινήθηκαν ανατολικά της Καρπάθου, παρεμβαλλόμενα στο δρομολόγιο των Β-52, προβαίνοντας παράλληλα σε παράβαση κανόνων εναέριας κυκλοφορίας, λόγω μη κατάθεσης Σχεδίου Πτήσης.    - 'Αμεσα απογειώθηκαν τέσσερα μαχητικά αεροσκάφη F-16 της Π.Α. από την Κρήτη, τα οποία ανεγνώρισαν τα άγνωστα ίχνη ως οπλισμένα τουρκικά μαχητικά αεροσκάφη F-16, που αναχαιτίσθηκαν σύμφωνα με τους διεθνείς κανόνες και κατά πάγια πρακτική.    - Επί του θέματος έχουν ενημερωθεί οι αρμόδιες αρχές του ΝΑΤΟ και των ΗΠΑ.    "Οποιαδήποτε άλλη περιγραφή των σχετικών γεγονότων είναι ψευδής", καταλήγει το υπουργείο Εθνικής Άμυνας στην ανακοίνωσή του.       πηγή amna.gr
