Στην φυλακή οι επτά από τους οκτώ κατηγορούμενους για εκβιασμούς επιχειρηματιών στα νότια προάστια

Στην φυλακή οδηγούνται μετά τις απολογίες τους στον ανακριτή, οι έξι από τους επτά κατηγορούμενους ως μέλη κυκλώματος εκβιαστών στα νότια προάστια. Ο έβδομος αφέθηκε ελεύθερος με περιοριστικούς όρους.

   Οι κατηγορούμενοι φέρονται να μην αποδέχονται τις κατηγορίες που τους αποδίδονται και αφορούν εγκληματική οργάνωση, εκβίαση, βαριά σωματική βλάβη, φθορά ξένης ιδιοκτησίας και παράβαση του νόμου περί όπλων, αδικήματα που φέρονται ότι τελούσαν για περίπου έναν χρόνο.

   Συμφωνία με πληροφορίες, οι κατηγορούμενοι δεν δέχονται πως εκβίαζαν καταστηματάρχες, ισχυριζόμενοι - όσοι από αυτούς βαρύνονται για ξυλοδαρμούς - πως οι πράξεις τους δεν σχετίζονται με εξαναγκασμούς σε "προστασία" αλλά με προσωπικές διαφορές.

   Στην δικογραφία αναφέρεται πως μέλη του κυκλώματος έχουν διαπράξει τουλάχιστον 10 επιθέσεις σε μαγαζιά της Ηλιούπολης, Αργυρούπολης, Αλίμου, Γλυφάδας και άλλων περιοχών, από τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2022. Οι δικαστικές αρχές έχουν εκδώσει εντάλματα σύλληψης για τρία πρόσωπα που θεωρούνται μέλη του κυκλώματος.
