Στην 4ἀδα ο Τζόκοβιτς!

Άλλη μία δύσκολη πρόκριση στο Paris Masters πήρε ο Νόβακ Τζόκοβιτς, επικρατώντας με 2-1 σετ του Χόλγκε

ρ Ρούνε και παίρνοντας το «εισιτήριο» για τους τέσσερις του τουρνουά Masters 1000, όπου θ΄ αντιμετωπίσει το νικητή του αγώνα ανάμεσα στον Ντε Μινόρ και στον Ρούμπλεφ. 

Ο «Νολε» πήρε τη ρεβάνς από τον κάτοχο του τίτλου στο Παρίσι, από τον οποίο είχε ηττηθεί πέρυσι στον τελικό, πιέζοντας πολύ τον αντίπαλό του στο τρίτο και καθοριστικό σετ, το οποίο κατέκτησε με 6-4.

Προηγήθηκε 1-0 με 7-5, αλλά στο δεύτερο σετ ο Δανός κατάφερε στο «τάι μπρέικ» να στείλει τον τρίτο χρονικά προημιτελικό σε τρίτο, το οποίο πήρε ο Σέρβος.

Ο Τζόκοβιτς έφτασε... αισίως στην 49η νίκη του εντός του 2023, 31η σε σκληρή επιφάνεια (31-1), αλλά και 15η συνεχόμενη μετά την ήττα στον τελικό του Γουίμπλεντον από τον Κάρλος Αλκαράθ.
