Στη φυλακή παραμένει η Εύα Καϊλή σύμφωνα με την ανακοίνωση της εισαγγελίας Βρυξελλών. Ειδικότερα, το δελτίο τύπου αναφέρει:

«Στο πλαίσιο ευρείας κλίμακας έρευνας της Ομοσπονδιακής Εισαγγελίας για φερόμενη εγκληματική οργάνωση, διαφθορά και ξέπλυμα βρώμικου χρήματος, η Ε.Κ. εμφανίστηκε σήμερα το πρωί ενώπιον του Πρωτοδικείου στις Βρυξέλλες.

Με απόφασή του σήμερα το πρωί, το προδικαστικό τμήμα επιβεβαίωσε την προφυλάκιση της Ε.Κ. Εάν ασκήσει έφεση κατά αυτής της απόφασης εντός 24 ωρών, θα εμφανιστεί ενώπιον του εφετείου εντός 15 ημερών».

«Ο Αντόνιο Παντσέρι δεν είναι ο κύριος πρωταγωνιστής της υπόθεσης. Επωφελήθηκε; Ναι, φυσικά. Έδρασε αναλαμβάνοντας πρωτοβουλίες; Είναι κι αυτό αλήθεια», δήλωσε στο ιταλικό πρακτορείο ειδήσεων Ansa o συνήγορος υπεράσπισής του, ο Λοράν Κενές.

«Ο Παντσέρι δεν διέφθειρε ποτέ για λογαριασμό του αλλά υπέρ άλλων προσώπων, τα οποία από το Κατάρ και από το Μαρόκο του ζήτησαν να το πράξει και τα οργάνωσαν όλα. Αποφάσισε να μιλήσει και καθόρισε προκαταβολικά την ποινή του. Ο νόμος προβλέπει την δυνατότητα συνεργασίας με τη δικαιοσύνη», πρόσθεσε ο δικηγόρος.
